NEW JERSEY!!

Been a long time.. I've been working overtime to make sure I'm as ready as possible for the big show this weekend in Jersey. Can't wait to not only tie but to see everyone and check out some new fly ideas. There is even gonna be a film tour there Friday evening. Looking forward to checking out "A Backyard in Nowhere", if you haven't heard of this movie yet do yourself a favor and google it and check out the trailer. Most everything is packed up but I had a few ties on the drying rack that I took pics of for this post.

  1. Backyard is an awesome flick. The moose scene is kinda creepy though. I'll be at Somerset on Sat. I'll stop by and say hi.

  2. The top flies are a duck pattern for Musky but they will work just as well for pike, largemouth and other predators looking for something differant on the menu. I have an older article on them in the blog here too.

  4. Thank you! The duck casts and looks great. Unfortunately I tied it at the tail end of summer when we were having vicious floods here and never got a chance to chuck it at muskies. But one will be rigged and ready for the spring "hatch". I can't wait to see something hunt this little guy down..
